Hello and welcome! My name is Nadia Dodd and I am a freelance artist living in the Fraser Valley. I invite you to explore a little piece of my imagination. Should you like what you see or if you have any questions about my services, feel free to contact me.
Hello! I painted this piece, titled “Longing”, for a local anonymous art show. Now that the show has concluded I am able to share this with you. I’ve had quite a few projects on the go this past month, but those, too, cannot be shared yet! Stay tuned in the coming weeks as I finish up what I’m working on.
Behold! My lovely little girl pilot logo on T-shirts for the Ninety-Nines. Had a great time yesterday helping out with the BC Coast chapter of the Ninety-Nines and their annual poker run. And what a fabulous feeling to see my design being worn! Thanks ladies, it looks great! Hope I get to work with these fantastic women some more in the future.
This is my first attempt at something new… instead of bold outlines I’m experimenting with a more abstract and loose style. I have two more paintings currently in progress and they will be added to the Gallery when they are finished. Remember to check back here often to see the latest and if you don’t already, follow me on Instagram to keep up to date on all my projects.
Yesterday I had the pleasure spending the afternoon with a vibrant and diverse group of ladies… the BC Coast Chapter of the Ninety-Nines. Founded by Amelia Earhart, the Ninety-Nines are all female pilots dedicated to advancing women in aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support in their passion for flying. It’s been so exciting to create some wonderful designs for this group and I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see this adorable little pilot on some t-shirts and other merchandise! I encourage any women (young or old) who are interested in flying to check out their website www.bccoast99s.com
Hello everyone! I’m so pleased to announce that we are in the final stages of editing the children’s coloring storybook I have illustrated. Follow Larry and Linda Forseth in their crazy adventure to Tranquility Bay Honduras and meet all the animals they have adopted. I am so honored to have worked on this project and cannot wait for it to hit the shelves! Stay tuned to find out where you can get your copy!
